Homework will be expected the day it is due and the student should have it in class

Test and Quizzes:
There will be both announced and unannounced quizzes. Test will be on the school appointed testing day. Absent student will be expected to make up a test or quiz the day she returns to class. Since this class is a project based class test and quizzes will be kept to a minimum and grades will be given for daily assignments and project. Tests will be made up of objective questions that will be taken through the LAN as well as a performance section administered by the teacher.
Passes:
No locker passes will be issued.
Bathroom privileges are open for responsible use. If the
bathroom privileges are abused they will be limited to
emergency base only. Please sign out when you leave and
sign in when you return. Don’t for get the pass!
Make– Up Work:
This work must be initiated by the student. If a student is absent she must have the assignment the day after returning to school. Tests and assignments which are announced in advance will be due the day the student returns to class. The teacher will not track down absent students for their work.
Grading Policy:
Student grades will be made up of quizzes, test and projects. Test are made up of two parts; written and practical. Practical parts will be completed in class under teacher supervision. Each section will be scored using guidelines which will be given to each student prior each evaluation.
The following is general how quarter and semester grades are compiled. There can always be a change as I see fit for a given year or quarter and will promptly be communicated to the students. |
